The SoCal Sacred Fire Community

This event is co-created by all of us who show up and share in creating the vision, so "About Us" includes you!

There is also a SCSF Council of seven people who act as organizers and planners during the rest of the year as well as help shape the form of the event when we come together. Together we have several decades of practice under different tribal and sacred fire circle events across the country, and we look forward to sharing our vision and learning yours.

Kerem Bardot: Registrar

Kerem loves fire circles and has been circling with other kindred souls for about 7 years. Her favorite parts of life are play, music and love, and hopes to share that with you at the next SoCal Sacred Fire. By day she is a massage therapist and aspiring business woman. Look for her at the registration area this year to welcome you into the magic of the weekend. See you around the fire!

Devra

Devra was a nature worshiper from her earliest memory's of mud pies and pet parakeets.

Her connection to nature and spirituality constantly deepened throughout her life. Dev was raised Jewish but left her family tradition to seek a more "equal opportunity religion". In the early 1990's she found Wicca and Paganism, feeling it more closely resembled her personal belief system of honoring the Earth, The  Divine Feminine, nature's cycles, and the unseen spiritual realms. She became a Priestess of the Goddess in the 1990's and began facilitating ritual. As a professional dancer, using her body as the temple for Divine expression is integral to her life. Devra works as a licensed massage therapist. She has been studying and playing West African percussion since 2001, and thrives in the sacred fire circle experience, combining all the things she loves.

Erika Bardot

Erika Bardot is a singer, trance chanter, massage therapist, and life coach. She escaped to California from the nation’s capital in 2006, where she lived in a collaborative art and performance gallery. She also wrote and performed in the trance-Americana duo Isinglas as well as fronted the jazz group Erika Bardot and Her Gentleman Callers. She holds certificates in Transformational Leadership from Georgetown University, and Co-active Coaching from The Coaches Training Institute. She received her massage training from Mueller College of Holistic Studies, and is a Holistic Health Practitioner in the city of San Diego. Mostly she’s a dreamer who loves to be in the work of Spirit. The sacred fire circle has healed and fed her soul, and she’s humbled and honored to help bring it’s magic to SoCal.
